Grapefruit is known by its scientific names Citrus Racemosa and Citrus Maxima. The history and origin of grapefruit is shrouded in mystery. However, some accounts show that the fruit was first bred in Jamaica. It was later on given the name "grapefruit" because it looked like clusters of grapes hanging on trees. Grapefruit oil is commonly used in aromatherapy, and extracted from the peel of the grapefruit (Citrus Pparadisi), not its pulp or flesh.
With quite a history dating back thousands of years to traditional Chinese medicine, mandarin is known to be the sweetest and the most calming of all citrus essential oils. It is very mild and known for many healing properties. INSTRUCTIONS
Shake bottle before each use. Spray mister lightly to fragrance any room. You can also spray onto bedding or clothing before ironing; test a small area first and keep 18 inches from surfaces.
